A fire camp and Helicopter base has been established in the field next to Longsword. I have been in contact with the division that coordinates air traffic for the fires and they have asked that we do not fly. Helicopters fighting the Hendrix fire are moving back and forth from the camp to Ashland. This is voluntary on our part at this point but they have made it clear that if there is a problem, they will file a TFR for the area. I've been coordinating with this group for the past 3 years in regards to my towing operation at Lost Creek Lake and have a good relationship with the department. They are very appreciative that we are concerned and want to take a proactive approach. Please help us to stay in good standing by NOT FLYING WOODRAT until further notice. If they have to file a TFR, it will only extend the duration that the site will be closed.

Thank you for your cooperation,
Ryan Grizzell
