Officer Elections for 2027 Executive Board: call for nominations and Election Administrator

Officer elections are coming up soon!

Nominations are now open for the 2027 WOR Executive Board.  If you would like to run for an officer position, please formally submit your nomination using this nomination form.  Nominees' names, positions that they're interested in, and candidate statements will be posted on the club's website.

Details about each officer's role and responsibilities can be found in Section 4 of the club's bylaws.

All nominations must be received by 11:59pm PST on November 21, 2026.

Here are the guidelines for candidates:

  1. Candidates must have a paid 2026 WOR Membership and up-to-date contact information on file in the WOR member database.

  2. Members may only submit nominations for themselves. Please do not submit information on behalf of other members.

  3. Members may run for up to 2 positions with the following exception: No person running for President may concurrently run for Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer.

  4. Candidates for the Safety Coordinator position must hold at least an Advanced rating.

  5. The Activities and Communications Director position is an appointed, not elected position.  Candidates who wish to apply for this position must submit their statements in the nomination form, but this position will not appear on the ballot.

We will be using the ElectionBuddy platform for the election. Be aware that the information you enter into the nomination form will be copied and pasted verbatim into the election ballot: this is your opportunity to communicate with members about your candidacy.

If you wish to update information that you have submitted, you may do so until the close of the nomination period.

The voting period will be from November 29 to December 3, 2026.
The current list of nominees can be viewed here.

In accordance with our bylaws, we are also seeking an Election Administrator to help facilitate the election process:

5.1 Election Administrator

An Election Administrator shall be appointed prior to annual elections by the President, subject to the review by the Executive Board.  The Election Administrator’s duty is to run the election in accordance with these Bylaws and the California mutual benefit corporation law.  The Election Administrator shall not be a current Executive Board member, and shall not be a candidate for an officer position in the current election.

If you meet the above criteria and are interested in serving as Election Administrator for this year's election, please reach out to secretary@wingsofrogallo.org.

Thank you,
The Wings of Rogallo Executive Board
